I bought this for my niece when she turned 2. She loved everything elmo related and this was a hit right away. I would sit her on my lap and she would point to what she wanted and I'd click for her. By the time she was 3 she could already do it on her own. It's pretty self explanatory and it locks the screen on the game so you can walk away for a minute and know they won't do anything to the computer. It has so many options, there's always something new, and it inspires their creativity. I now have 2 nephews and my niece is almost 7, and every time they come to grandma's house where we keep the software they want to play with it. They take turns and enjoy seeing the other one play too. To be honest, when I first bought it I did it because it was very cheap, and I can't believe how much I got my money's worth
