Software Reviews of Winnie the Pooh PreschoolCustomer Review: Pretty Good Game Summary: 4 StarsMy 2 1/2 year old likes this pretty well. I agree with previous reviewers about the party at the end. It was so bad that I assumed it would improve as you completed the exercises in level 2 and 3, etc. It didn't. In fact, once you get the party, you never get anything else for completing the higher levels. Not even the same party. My 2 1/2 year old mastered the mouse while playing this, and will sometimes play unattended for quite some time on her own. This game has some decent letter recognition, pattern matching, and motor skills activities.
Customer Review: not a good buy Summary: 2 Starsthis program is the one of thr worst I have bought! i bought it for my son who is almost 3 because in the box it is written for 2-4 year olds . If your kid hasn't mastered his mouse skills yet it is impossible for him to do it by himself. Another dissapontment was the final birthday party. We worked so hard with him to get there. and guess what ... pooh has mixed things up and it wasn't eeore's birthday afterall ( so no candles no cake )but any day spent with friends is a party!!!! my son was crieing and begging me to put a cake and candles there! It was total dissapointment. I also didn't like that piglets pictures had to be colored how piglet wanted them to be. (this was the only thing he could do without my help but the colors were different so I had to change them to the "proper" ones to be able to paint the next picture) kanga's alphabet soup was fun - we liked it a lot. tigers music machine was also lots of fun Owls house little boring-my son showed no interest. In my opinion this software shouldn't be suggested to the kids under 4 because, firstly it is almost impossible for them to do it by themselves, neither they understand the joke how pooh mixes up the bithday party. Would never have bought it if I had known this.
Customer Review: My daughter and son loved this... Summary: 4 StarsI wanted to see if my kids would get into learning by computer and well after using the program one day they were fighting over computer time. My 5 year old ripped right through it and my 2 1/2 year old is learning at a slow and even pace. I was upset that you need a color printer but I guess that is the next thing on our list to buy. I think having Pooh and his friends there to teach takes some pressure off me, a wonderful compliment to the old fashion way of teaching.
Customer Review: OK, but get Mickey Mouse preschool instead Summary: 3 StarsMy 2 year old loves Winnie the Pooh but get bored after 2 months. Some of the games are not very challenging. I have a 20inch monitor at 1600x1200 and the game window doesn't size so it's a small picture in the middle. The Mickey Mouse Kindergarden CD does size correctly. I would reommend the Mickey Mouse CD over this one. There is a print option for printing Pooh stickers, bookmarks and name tags which my daughter loves.
Customer Review: Software User Summary: 3 StarsI basically liked this program. But my child lost interest in it really quick. My three year old liked Mickey's preschool much better. Read my review for that. It is titled the same but rated a five star.
