You really don't know if a program like DriveClone works until you have to restore your drive. The backup may work fine but what happens when your computer experiences a virus or some other calamity and you have to restore the drive? There is always that doubt. I'm happy to report that DriveClone works like a charm.
I had what may have been a virus and all I could see were random screen symbols. After trying my computer support team etc. and nothing worked I went to DriveClone restore. It worked beautifully. This program is really a godsend.
I am running Windows 7 64 bit and am using DriveClone 7, which as far as I know is not offered anywhere except the DriveClone website.
I did my backup and restore to an esata external drive, and restore only took a bit more than an hour (backups also take about an hour). If you are using an external USB drive expect to wait for about 4 hours for both the backup and restore.
Thank you, thank you, thank you DriveClone for a program that does what it is supposed to do with no glitches at all.
