MapSourceTM BlueChart is Garmin's exclusive marine cartography developed to provide mapping flexibility and interactive viewing of detailed nautical chart data, and to navigators innovative object-oriented cartography. Viewed on any of Garmin's plotters listed below, these detailed electronic charts look just like paper charts, with extended coverage at a reasonable price. Compatible with GPSMAP 76, GPSMAP 162, GPSMAP 168 Sounder, eTrex Legend, eTrex Vista and GPS V (limited compatibility). With a software upgrade available on the Garmin website, all the new chartplotters, such as the GPSMAP 76, 176, 182, 188, 232, 238, and GPSMAP 2006 and 2101 will be compatible with MapSource BlueCharts. Unlocking your coverage: Coverage is regional, and a region must be unlocked prior to use.
