I've never used this software because I could never get the audio component to work. After repeated attempts to download "files" to fix this problem from tech support I finally gave up. I regret downloading those files as I believe those files have compromised my system, a brand new Dell. The Tech support staff is inadequately trained and just knowledgeable enough to be dangerous. I never got the same answer from anyone I talked to.Customer Review: learning can be fun

I bought this for my 7 year old granddaughter and she loves it.
By the end of the first hour , she was typing 7 WPM and she was so proud of herself and so was I.
It is fun and educational. I highly recommend it.

We bought Typing Deluxe 17 and Typing Instructore for Kids version 4. They would not work if being run on the same computer. There was a 'fix' on the software maker website for fixing an identical problem with kids version 3...but we had version 4 and the fix didn't work. I called tech support and they put me on a 'call back' list as they didn't have a solution yet. I have never received a 'call back.' I really like these programs as do my kids but the customer service was so bad I am returning both. There is no use having products I can't use. Customer Review: Disappointed

We were very excited to try this program out. To our disappointment, it wouldnt work. We try on both computers (Windows XP) and it did not work so we had to get a refund. If it worked, it would have been a great program. Maybe the product was defective.
