First time user of Kaspersky - recommended by CNET and PCWorld. I searched for recommendations because the 2007 version of the brand I usually use took up more space on my hard drive than Microsoft Office 2003.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus is very light on the memory usage; loads, updates and scans easily and quickly. Runs silently in the background without pop-up balloons. The menus are easy to decipher. I'm delighted with this new product and will not hesitate to remain with Kaspersky when it comes time to renew.

For years I was a faithful Norton user. However, after becoming increasingly frustrated by Norton's slow performance, system usage and constant "script errors," I decided to uninstall it and move on to something else. I only wish I'd found Kapersky sooner!

In my humble opinion, this is the best anti-virus program out there. It's fast, it's user-friendly, and most importantly, it works really, really well. The constant updates mean you're protected against new bugs long before most other folks, and unlike Norton's LiveUpdate, Kaspersky's update function won't slow your computer to a crawl.

I'd highly recommend this product to anyone.

Oh, and for those who are worried about KAV's compatibility with Vista, the newest version of 6.0 is Vista compatible. I'm running that OS and I haven't had any problems whatsoever with the software.

I was having problems with alot of lag and slow running with my computer with my old antivirus program...I am much happier with this one and everything is running smoother...good product, just as easy to use as my old antivirus, as well..
