Customer Review: Best Internet Security I've ever used

Kaspersky is number one for a reason. This security suite will block and detect anything. I purchased this from Wal-mart last summer just before my AOL McAfee Security Center subscription was up. A rootkit got into my system and caused my browser to redirect everytime I tried to go to a site. HP tech support said that, after trying different things, should just reinstall the system. But this was very time consuming. I came across a program called Combofix. Very easy to use, removed the rootkit, and once it was gone, Kaspersky went in for the kill. It removed all the trojans and viruses from my computer. My computer has been clean ever since then. Trojans have tried numerous times to get into my system, but they failed. KIS 2009 blocked them (denied access) before they could even install. It protects from Trojans, malware, rootkits, dialers, spyware, everything it says with its product description.
I've used Norton, Panda, McAfee, AVG (worst out there), Windows defender (which is not a good anti spyware program, Avira, and KIS is better than them all, although McAfee is probably fourth behind KIS, Avira, and Norton. I will be upgrading to KIS 2010 once my subscription runs out this summer.

Can't beat this product. I Have used Zone Alarm Internet Security, Norton System Works, Norton 360, PC-Cillin Internet Security, Computer Associates, and other products since 1982 and Kaspersky overall has been the best performer for doing what it proposes to do. It has an easier user interface, is more intuitive, and provides better protection for the novice user than any of the other products. I've had less attacks on my pc from the internet than any product used in the past. The hourly update is a major plus in this fast changing internet malware/virus creation society.
All you have to do is load the software and let it do it's recommended setup for your pc and you're covered. Let the software automatically decide the best setup is easy for the novice and safe. Shop the internet for the best price you can find for the product and go get it.....now! You will not be disappointed!
The only CON I see for Kaspersky is it's limited help in removing malware and virus programs already installed on your pc before you buy. The key to a clean pc is to keep your anti-virus, spyware, malware, firewall software current and active all the time. It is detrimental and costly to any user to not do that! In the long run, you will pay more $$$$$'s for not keeping your security software current and always working than, if you keep it updated and working every minute you have your pc turned on for use.

this is the best online security program, works fine in my netbook, an Asus N10, in the Kaspersky's site you can update the product to 2010 version.

I have been using the Kaspersky Internet Security programs every year since 2006. It has only gotten better with the latest revisions and i can't complain one bit. The older versions use to run a bit slower but the 2009 version with windows 7 64 bit runs perfectly smooth. I highly recommend this to anybody looking for a reliable antivirus and internet security program.
