My opinion of this product is, it is good CD burning software but has terrible product support. It used to be good for creating DVD video but one of their software updates seems to have destroyed that ability. Now, instead of releasing another update to fix what they broke, it seems they expect people to just buy the newest version, and pay another $70 or so to get back what was already paid for. It also seems that, instead of fixing the problem, they just removed the bit about being able to author a DVD from all of the promotional material. I am giving this product the lowest possible rating just because, in my opinion, it doesn't do what it was advertised to do. If you are looking for video editing software, I recommend Pinnacle Studio instead of this product.Customer Review: not what it seems to be

I was very unhappy to find out that the photo part of this program was dropped and not useable on the disc. Nero 7 will not work on "Vista but Nero 8 is not as complete as Nero 7Customer Review: nero 8 a price gouger

Don't buy any nero products. A few days after I instaled nero it stoped working. Tech help is avalible at a cost for ever call $1.00. Down load a posible solution 12 hours and if that don't work, more problems. This is nothing less than Electronic harassment. Buy their product and you'll reget it. Product is very complicated for a novice to use, directions are hard to understand, in fact I deleted from my computer.
