Customer Review: Great set up; needs more reviewing

This was easy to set up... well my tech savvy husband did it, but I didn't hear any complaints from him.
This is a great set up to teach your kids NOT to look at their hands. My kids enjoy it for the most part.
The only complaint I have, and I think my kids feel the same, is the lack of practicing for beginners. Yes it seems great to just fly through the lessons until you realize you're typing at literally a snail's pace (no pun intended Gary). So there's no real ownership of the skills. My 11yo (started last year) was deflated when she saw how few of the letters she'd mastered on her chart even though she had flew past lesson 12. So we slowed down and started reviewing on our own. But reviews mean going through lessons over and over again. Now she flies through lessons 1-7, or 2-6, or 3-8 skipping the games for time reasons. While her typing has improved a lot, it's rather repetitive. Of course I see the wisdom in that, but she just sees the same thing over, and over, and over again (as Sponge Bob states). I have since purchased a typing picture book, like what I used in highschool, and it's a nice break. My 8yo son started this year with mom's built-in reviewing and he's doing great with it so far.
