Customer Review: Not a continuation of older print artist software

I am quite disappointed with this product. Recently our computer crashed and I had many, many projects that I had completed with the Print Artist Grande Suite. Since that is an older program and we have vista on the computer we transferred the saved projects to, I thought it best to get another print Artist program to not lose all my previous work. WRONG.... The older program projects are in a .PA format and the new one is different... and won't open the .PA files. I contacted support and they were unable to help me except to say I may be able to convert the older files to jpeg and then use them as a completed image in the new program... and they were sorry for any "inconvenience"
If I had known this was the case before I purchased the Platinum program, I may have chosen a totally different program. So beware! I am also not liking the layout of this new program, although it may well be that I am just used to the older one... we'll see. It is leaving quite a bad taste in my mouth at present and I have not been able to find a program or site out there that can convert .PA files to jpeg so... I am feeling screwed at this moment....
