This is an interesting product. It does a fair job for people with slight speech impediments, like mine, but a better job for those who have little to no problems speaking. Patience helps, if you do have a speech impediment.
It will get most words and phrases right, once it gets used to your speech, and seems to have an easier time with phrases, instead of single words.
Don't try to spell out your words, it'll likely give you something very strange, as it'll try to type out your spelling with whole words, not letters.
Play with it! It will get better, as it adjusts to your speech.

A great invention for college students like myself.I am always looking for time savers and this product has been wonderful. You have to take time to learn how to use the commands but otherwise it is a timesaver.
What would of taken me an hour and half to type a six page paper, with
Dragon my paper is typed under thirty minutes.

I'm really happy with my Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Standard. I read in some reviews that some people with Vista had trouble installing/downloading the software. I have Microsoft XP and didn't have any problems at all installing it. The program is easy to use, however it has some difficulties understanding my southern accent (there is a way to adjust this- I just haven't gotten to it yet).
It is a much faster way to write than typing on the keyboard because I can just think and talk. I'm getting more work done now.

Before buying, I wish I had read the many bad experiences with their support.
All I got from their email support was canned emails. It's obvious that they didn't read what I wrote. I wasn't able to log in to their website, and they kept
sending me the same reply over and over.
When I finally got though to a real person, he promised to research and get back to me, but never did.

the Dragon naturally speaking software is awesome, currently writing this review with it. been able to been publish an e-mail blog daily using it. This is a great product for a person who searched to find the letters on the keyboard, they can type faster with this product.
