Software Reviews of Dazzle DVD RecorderCustomer Review: Spend more money on a better product Summary: 1 StarsDon't buy this software. I get better quality dvds when using the software that came free with my standard def video camera. I should have spent $100 and bought a better product that would allow more flexibility that just playing the video to the dvd burner.
Customer Review: Good but certainly not the best of its kind Summary: 4 Starsi'm returning this to get the Dazzle Plus. This one is good to make DvDs but I needed something to create files to upload to youtube and for my ipod. and this one doesnt do that. It is a good product and recomend it as long your only intent is to make a DvD
Customer Review: Pinnacle's Dazzle may be the worst software I've ever used!!!! Summary: 1 StarsPinnacle's Dazzle is horrible!!!!!!!! It has to be the worst software I've ever had the misfortune of using. Out of 50 blank disks, I have 10 (that's 20%) that are now coasters! I've reloaded the software 4 times and still been having problems!!!!!
Just God awful!!!!!!
Customer Review: So So Summary: 3 StarsAs you can tell by reading the reviews this device is plain average with Windows Vista. I am about 2 out of 5 success rate. It is still cheaper than most other alternatives if you cannot afford them. I have not tried recording to disk first as some have mentioned. I have been going straight to the dvd burner. I guess the best advice is to be patient and expect to be frustrated every few times with this device.
Customer Review: Dazzle VCR/DVD converter does the job. Summary: 4 StarsThis is a very good product that does the job for which it was purchased. My only complaints and they are small ones, is that is does not come with the required cables and it will only divide DVDs into separate chapters by time. So, if you don't know the exact length of a segment, you will end up splitting where you don't want a split. If you have other video editing software you may want to first save the video onto your hard drive and use the other software to create your DVD. However,if you don't want to divide into chapters, on the plus side, you can record directly from the video to the DVD without first saving on your computer and you can see exactly what is being recorded in real time on your computer screen. I am gradually moving all my videos onto DVDs and I know they will last a lot longer. All in all, I recommend this product.
