This is the best idea ever. I had a camera in the barn to observe the mares foaling. I hooked the Dazzle up and with a few short clicks, everyone could view the blessed occasion via mare stare! I bought this to capture game videos. After i read all the reviews about installing it on Vista I was a little worried. but when i got it, i installed in first try and it worked great. Quality isnt AMAZING but it is good.Customer Review: Easy to use, but digital quality much lower

I am satisfied for the easy of use and dissapointed by the poor quality of the digital registration. I spent a long time looking for an affordable way to convert my VHS into digital form. The Dazzle DVD Recorder was just what I needed. The price is reasonable and I found it easy to use. You just plug it in, insert a blank DVD into your PC, press play on your VCR and record on your computer screen and you are in business!
You can also burn the video to your hard drive if you wish. My only complaint is that it burns stuff on your drive in DVD format so you end up having a bunch of VTS type files. I wish you could burn stuff into .AVi or some other format. It also takes up a ton of space. A 90 minute recording is around 4 gigs so make sure you have a bunch of memory space. I suppose it is worth the size because the video is very good quality.
All in all, I think it is a good product and I have no regrets buying it.

The Dazzle is extremely easy to setup and use. It is strictly an appliance designed to transfer video. It provides no editing and/or packaging capability. I am very pleased with how quickly I was able setup and migrate my video tapes to the computer.
Be aware that if you require editing capability, you must purchase Dazzle Video Creator Plus or another package with similar capabilities. I didn't realize how relevant that point would be until the video was on the computer.
