I bought Rosetta Stone 1,2&3 V.3 and almost returned it when I read the review about how it doesn't work with Vista. I took a chance and installed it. It took less than 10 minutes and I was up and running. I'm taking Spanish in college and in I have learned more in a 30 minute lesson with Rosetta Stone than I have in the 4 weeks I've been in my class. This is worth every penny! i have had an interest in learning spanish for quite sometime now and the classes in high school did nothing for me. this program skips the translating part(trust me thats a good thing) so you will be able to speak the language faster. the only down fall is this program doesnt teach any regional slang or idioms but is great for gaining the ability to speak and write the grammatically correct latin spanish language.Customer Review: Rosetta Stone program is great.

The Rosetta Stone Immersion program is great! I haven't finished with the whole program yet but so far I've reinforced the basic Spanish that I knew and am learning so much more. I am happy that I bought the package with all three levels. It's a big savings compared to buying the levels individually. My husband bought RosettaStone Spanish (Latin America) for me and my daughter for Christmas. I was doubtful we would use it consistently and also wondered about the quality. It is excellent! I speak and understand some Spanish because my family is originally from South America but I left when I was almost 2. My daughter is almost 10 and knows very little. The two of us can use this program and go at our own pace. My daughter actually likes it! And the other day after just a month of using RosettaStone, we were in a store where someone came in speaking Spanish and my daughter turns to me and says with wide eyes "I can understand what they are saying!" I am happy to say I am learning spelling and grammar that I didn't know before. Great software for all levels. I highly recommend it.Customer Review: Korean is a bad idea

My wife and I bought Rosetta Stone because of the six month guarantee. We called the company directly and the help person told us to keep trying, "you've got six months to return it." We finally gave up and turned toward another program that works better and called Rosetta Stone to return/refund. Not only did they not guarantee it for six months, there was NO guarantee at all through the company because "you purchased it through Amazon or other retailer."
Only thanks to Amazon's extended holiday return policy were we lucky enough to get in under that wire and return this product that didn't work for us at all! (The program does not Romanize the words, but uses the Korean characters.) Hope this helps.
