I thought it was me, or my computer, that was wrong... then I came across some of the comments in Amazon about this product (a little late for me already, though)... I should have known better!!! I bought this software a few months ago and I only got to burn ONE CD. Not because I did not want to use it more, but because IT DID NOT WORK!!!
Customer service is non-existent. They direct you to the help or to their web site, but forget about a live person. In any case, someone else commented that the guys at Roxio do not know a lot about what's going on with their software as well, so I wouldn't have helped much to talk or chat with someone from their side, anyway.
This is my first and last experience with ROXIO. I bouth it in the first place only because my husband's (old) notebook came with a version and it did work.
They should really give it away for free, or maybe pay customers to have it. I would very much appreciate a refund as a good-bye gift from this company.

Roxio employees on the Tech response team have no idea as to how their software works and quite frankly don't read your questions. Here is an example:
Product was not listed so I picked what appeared to be closest to it. I am burning data discs using Creator DE 10.2. Here is my question/problem:
Q:When I put in a dual layer 8.5 GB Memorex DVD+R DL Roxio deducts .5 GB and shows the disc having 8.0 GB available. But when I burn a DATA DISC with only a 29 KB file a whole GIG "disapppears". Does Roxio really use this much space when creating a data disc? It seems awfully high to me.

A:If you are finalizing the disc the disc will be closed. If you want to add more data at another tim you need to leave the disc appendable.

What does any of this have to do with what I asked. I will spare you the next 5 replies I got since it just got worse and worse. Bottom line, get a free package from CNET. At least you get what you pay for when it comes to support!

I have to totally agree with that last gentlemen, this software is junk!!! First it wouldn't download correctly then after 2 hours playing with that part the program error: error code 046C. After many attempts of installation, I simple gave up and requested a refund. Do yourself a huge favor, don't buy this software. Sad.......and no phone number to call to ask for help. They did provide a "live chat" that too was a waste. Customer Review: $62.00 Wasted

I recently bought a new computer and purchased creator 2009 to install on the new computer. I had a earlier version on the computer I was replacing and was satisified with the performance of that version. I had hoped by upgrading from a previous version that there would be improvements in Roxio 2009. What a waste of money and would not recommend this product to anyone. I am considering uninstalling 2009 and loading the older version or looking at purchasing some other software.
