Customer Review: Better than Pinnacle Studio

I had used Pinnacle Studio for a number of years, and recently upgraded to v12 Ultimate. I had problems with it from the get-go, and then about 3 months ago it started freezing up on me whenever I would import a file (no idea why). After spending literally hours on "Live Chat" with numerous tech support people, the problem was never solved, and I did everything they suggested (short of wiping my hard drive clean!). Of course, they pretty much told me that a refund for a product I could no longer use was out of the question.
So ... I decided to try Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum. O, why didn't I make this switch sooner? It doesn't hang up, works very smoothly and (from what I've seen so far) makes typical transitions like fades, etc. much easier to accomplish than Studio ever did. IMHO, if you are trying to decide between Studio or Vegas, CHOOSE VEGAS!!!
