Customer Review: Very Disappointing

I got this because it had some good reviews, had a good price, and looked to have a number of good features.
Problem is, it doesn't really do all it claims, it has a very limited number of usable formats, tech support is practically non existant, and I am stuck now with a useless program. It would be nice if a program such as this really worked and delivered what it promised, but I don't think such a thing exists. I get better results with a ten dollar editing program I purchased several years ago than I do with this. Most aspects of the program simply do not work. That is why I do not recommend this program.

I read good reviews for this product so I downloaded a trial version. The program runs very stable even when working with MPEG2 files over 10GB. I only have 2GB of RAM yet the program runs smoothly. I have used this program for over 6 months and have not had the program lock up once.Customer Review: This product has changed! THERE IS NO CINESCORE INSIDE

Sony's boxed product has changed, and the product page has not been updated to reflect this. The boxed product *DOES* *NOT* contain Cinescore, even though it's clearly listed in the product description as well as several of the cut-and-paste user "ratings". You can verify this at the Sony product page.
Everything else about the product is awesome, and I would highly recommend it to others; this product is nearly as easy to use as iMovie, and vastly more powerful, occupying a very satisfying place in the difficulty/power spectrum.
However, please bear in mind that if you expect Cinescore, you will not receive it, and will be asked to purchase it separately (it's more expensive than Vegas, too.)
I believe that, even without Cinescore, this product is worth several times its asking cost. However, because Cinescore is important to me, this came as a rude shock, and I'd like other customers to be aware and eyes-open regarding their purchase.

For many years, I used Movie Maker (both the XP and Vista versions). Despite that these versions were free, I created highly admired videos with both versions.
I had some problems creating DVD that played in my DVD Player, so I decided to buy this software and at least create DVDs.
Well, with all sincerity, these developers need to learn a lot from Movie Maker designers. It is not as easy to place text in specific scenes, there are too many steps to take just to create a DVD.
Are they kidding? Yes, the users that love this software will tell you that it has so many features, so many special options, that you need more time to learn.
Come on people, wake up and go back to use Movie Maker for a while and get the free XML effects, transitions and titles that users post for free on the Movie Maker forum. If you do, you will wonder why you spent the money for this too complicated suite, as I did and I am so sorry.
Customer Review: Chroma Key works Great

I used After Effects to do Chroma Keying for my Zombie Pirates stop motion project. It worked but very poorly and was one of the major problems I had to deal with. Vegas actually saved shots that wouldn't correctly key even with hours of tweaking in AE.
If you have used Premiere then the interface is pretty intuitive, but if you're new to editing it might seem complicated. Otherwise anyone with a few years experience won't have any problems moving to this program.
It's definitely one of the best programs I have worked with and it is also very stable on my new Vista 64 bit system. It hasn't locked up once and works fast, even with the HD editing I have done.
