Creating PhotoStamps is as easy as 1-2-3
PhotoStamps are an exciting new product that lets you take your own images or photographs and turn them into real U.S. postage. To create PhotoStamps all you need to do is upload a photo, customize it using the fun, easy-to-use interface, and place your order. The customization interface allows you to zoom, move, and rotate your image, and then select one of 10 different border colors to match your image perfectly. You may purchase PhotoStamps in one of seven different postage denominations ranging from 24 cent postcards to 39 cent regular first class to $4.05 for packages, to meet all your mailing needs.

Is this real postage?
Yes, PhotoStamps from Stamps.com are valid U.S. Postage, based on a technology called PC Postage, which is what creates the bar code you see to the right of the image area on PhotoStamps. Only vendors that are licensed and approved to produce PC Postage may display the United States Postal Service approval logo.

Stamps.com, the company behind PhotoStamps, has been a USPS-approved provider of PC postage since 1999, and is the industry leader. When the product first launched in 2004, PhotoStamps by Stamps.com was the first customized postage product ever to be offered in the United States. On May 11, 2006, Stamps.com was authorized by the USPS to print business logos, messages and images on PhotoStamps.

A robust Mac version, too
PhotoStamps for Mac, which is included with this software package, works seamlessly with iPhoto to give Mac users the power to create PhotoStamps using images found anywhere on their computer. Mac users can access extra digital photo editing tools from within iPhoto and choose from thousands of border colors to create colorful, vibrant and unique PhotoStamps quickly and easily.

Once the image has been edited, PhotoStamps for Mac users will automatically be taken to the PhotoStamps Web site to complete their order. Benefits of using PhotoStamps for Mac include faster image uploads; uploading images into iPhoto is much faster than uploading images directly to the PhotoStamps web site. Plus, you'll enjoy easier image selection; with PhotoStamps for Mac you can drag any image from anywhere and drop it right into a PhotoStamp. You can also choose images from an existing iPhoto library or simply choose an image from one of the folders on your desktop. You also get more customization options. PhotoStamps for Mac offers the choice of thousands of border colors to frame your PhotoStamps. You can even use the color picker to perfectly match the border to a color in your image.
